Winstory is a co-creative storytelling platform where creators launch video campaigns and communities complete them, earning rewards in the process. It combines blockchain technology with creative collaboration. ### Do I need crypto knowledge to use Winstory? Not really! While Winstory uses blockchain technology, the interface is designed to be user-friendly. You just need to: * Connect a crypto wallet (we'll guide you) * Use a professional email address * Follow the simple on-screen instructions ### Is Winstory free to use? * **Completers**: Free to browse and complete campaigns * **Creators**: Pay to create campaigns (cost depends on campaign type and rewards) * **Moderators**: Free to participate, but may need to stake tokens ## Wallet & Authentication ### Why do I need a professional email? Professional emails help ensure account security, prevent spam, and maintain community quality. Personal emails (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) are not accepted. ### Which wallets are supported? Winstory supports MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, and any WalletConnect-compatible wallet. ### Do I need to pay for wallet setup? No, wallet setup is free. You only need test ETH for gas fees on Base Sepolia (testnet), which you can get for free from faucets. ### What if I don't have a crypto wallet? You'll need to create one. We recommend MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet - both are free and easy to set up. See our [Wallet Setup Guide](/getting-started/wallet-setup). ## Campaigns ### How much does it cost to create a campaign? Costs vary by campaign type: * **B2C/Agency**: Payment in ETH or USDC (varies by budget) * **Individual**: Payment in WINC tokens (calculated based on rewards) ### How long does moderation take? Campaign moderation typically takes 24-48 hours. You'll be notified once your campaign is approved or if changes are needed. ### Can I edit my campaign after submission? Once submitted for moderation, you cannot edit. If rejected, you can make changes and resubmit. ### What happens if my campaign is rejected? You'll receive feedback from moderators. You can make the requested changes and resubmit your campaign. ## Completions ### How do I earn rewards? * **Standard Rewards**: Earned immediately after your completion is approved * **Premium Rewards**: Top 3 completions earn premium rewards when campaign ends * **Access Rewards**: Digital or physical access codes ### When are rewards distributed? * Standard rewards: Immediately after moderation approval * Premium rewards: When the campaign ends (if you're in Top 3) * Moderator rewards: When the campaign ends ### What types of rewards are available? * **Tokens**: ERC20 tokens (USDC, WINC, etc.) * **Items**: ERC1155 or ERC721 NFTs * **Digital Access**: Links, codes, exclusive content * **Physical Access**: Events, deliveries, merchandise ### How is the Top 3 determined? Top 3 is based on: 1. Average moderation score 2. Median score (if tied) 3. Submission time (earlier submissions rank higher) ## Moderation ### How do I become a moderator? 1. Connect your wallet 2. Stake WINC tokens (minimum varies) 3. Start reviewing content 4. Build your reputation ### How do I earn as a moderator? * Earn XP for accurate votes * Receive rewards from moderator pool (B2C/Agency campaigns) * Build reputation for better opportunities ### What happens if I vote incorrectly? You may lose XP, but you can always improve your accuracy over time. The system tracks your performance. ## Technical ### Which blockchain does Winstory use? Winstory is built on **Base Sepolia** (testnet). This is a Layer 2 solution on Ethereum, offering: * Low gas fees * Fast transactions * Ethereum security ### What are gas fees? Gas fees are small payments required for blockchain transactions. On Base Sepolia, they're typically less than \$0.01. ### Can I use Winstory on mobile? Yes! Winstory works on mobile browsers.
